VFW Post 9127 Beaverdale Honor Guard

 

The VFW Post 9127 of Beaverdale in Des Moines, Iowa is one of three Posts in the Des Moines’s area that has an Honor Guard. This group of Volunteers are proud Post and Auxiliary members to which they are highly trained in Military Funeral Honors, Parade Flag detail, and ceremonial color guard.
The Honor Guard meets on a regular basis for training and fine tuning of drill and ceremony to give the best possible Military funeral honor possible to all deceased veterans. The Honor Guard strives for excellence and honor to all duties that are assigned.
This honor guard is one of the main honor guard to perform funeral details at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa and called upon by most funeral homes on the west side of Des Moines, Iowa.
Our Honor Guard has its own ceremonial M1 Rifles, Bugle, and Flags to use at any detail asked of our group.
All this is done at no charge to the families or venues that ask for assistance from our Honor Guard Team but donations are welcome. The Honor Guard always perform with honor and pride.
